The man who allegedly tried to meet Shawn Johnson on the set of Dancing with the Stars this week has been formally charged with felony stalking, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

Robert O’Ryan, 34, was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm in his vehicle. He faces an arraignment Thursday.

O’Ryan was arrested early Tuesday morning after he allegedly jumped a fence at CBS studios where the show was filming earlier in the day.

He is being held on $35,000 bail, but prosecutors will ask that bail be set at $220,000, the DAs say. If convicted, he faces up to four years in state prison.
