Relatives of missing Kentucky woman Savannah Spurlock have released a new photo of her, saying it’s a more accurate representation of how she looked shortly before vanishing on Jan. 4.

The new photo was taken weeks before the 22-year-old vanished after leaving a Lexington, Kentucky, bar with two unidentified men.

Family members hope that releasing the new image will help lead to Spurlock’s safe return.

“That is the most recent picture we have,” explained Ellen Spurlock, Savannah’s mother, while speaking to WKYT. “That’s a more accurate description of what she looks like now.”

Spurlock is the mother of four children — including twin babies who were born last month.

She was last seen by friends in the parking lot of The Other Bar, Richmond Police Department said in a news release shared on Facebook.

Investigators have not said if they believe Spurlock disappeared as a result of foul play.

Police have confirmed they’ve interviewed both of the men who were last seen with Spurlock, but have not detailed what was said and have not declared either a suspect or a person of interest.

“It’s been three weeks,” Ellen Spurlock said. “It just gets harder and harder today to keep that hope.”

Spurlock’s mother told WKYT she believes someone knows something about what happened to her, and that they need to find the courage to come forward.

“Somebody knows something and I want that person to think about what they are doing to all these people who are devastated by Savannah’s disappearance. She has four babies that need her, that want her home.”

“I’m still holding onto hope,” Ellen said. “I have great faith.”

Scammers have been tried to prey upon Spurlock’s family, claiming they have the missing woman and demanding ransom from her mother.

“It’s very cruel. Very,” Ellen told WKYT. “I mean, if these people that are doing this would think about what they would be doing in my situation, they may stop.”

Police have said Spurlock is 5 feet tall, 140 lbs., has brown eyes, shoulder-length brown/blonde hair and multiple tattoos.
