Mexican authorities are close to arresting reality TV producer Bruce Beresford-Redman in the case of his wife Monica’s death, according to a report.

Citing inconsistencies in his account of the events of last week, officials say his arrest could be imminent, ABC News reports.

Monica Beresford-Redman was found dead in the sewer of a Cancun resort on Thursday, the victim of a blow to the skull. Her husband, an Emmy-nominated former producer of Survivor and Pimp My Ride, was soon eyed as the main suspect – he was detained, then released but told to remain in the country while the investigation continued.
