Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav was arrested last May in Las Vegas
Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav has been charged with DUI following his arrest last May in Las Vegas, the Associated Press reports.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Flav – born William Jonathan Drayton – was stopped on May 21 for going 87 m.p.h. in a 65-m.p.h. zone.
PEOPLE reported in May that Drayton, 56, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, marijuana possession, having an open container of alcohol, driving a vehicle with suspended registration and driving with a suspended license.
AP reports that on July 16 he was officially charged with two of those – having an open container of alcohol and driving under the influence. Drayton was additionally charged with speeding.
The rapper was arrested on similar charges in January 2014 when he was charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license and possession of marijuana.
