Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin was arrested on Wednesday for driving under the influence, TMZ reports.

Scantlin, who was expected to perform in Sturgis, South Dakota the same night, was stopped for speeding. According to the report, officers determined that the musician was under the influence and took him into custody.

It’s not clear if Scantlin failed any sobriety tests administered. He was later released on $500 bail.

Wednesday’s incident is the singer’s second DUI arrest in less than a month. In late July, Scantlin, 43, was arrested in Minnesota for allegedly leading police on a car chase. After stopping him police administered a breath test that registered his blood alcohol level at almost four times the legal limit.
