The Beverly Hills Police Department says the twins were involved in a traffic accident October 12 at 9 p.m. at the corner of Whittier and Trenton drives. The 26-year-old sisters were transported to a local hospital and treated for their injuries, according to Beverly Hills police Sgt. Max Subin. Subin says Kristina Shannon was given a citation at the hospital for misdemeanor DUI. “We cited her and released her to the care of the hospital,” says Subin. “We will be submitting our case to the district attorney for possible criminal filing for driving under the influence.” Kristina Shannon is scheduled to appear in court on January 12.
