A Pennsylvania man has been charged with contempt of court after he violated a restraining order when he “liked” Facebook photos of a woman he was allegedly harassing.

April Holland, 24, obtained a protection from abuse order on July 28, claiming that her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bellanco, 26, has been stalking and harassing her and her friends, and at one point threatened to shoot her in the knee cap, according to the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader.

A Luzerne County Judge granted a restraining order against Bellanco on Aug. 4, ordering him to stay away from Holland for a year.

On Monday, Pittston police alleged that Bellanco violated the no-contact restraining order by “liking” 22 videos and photos on her Facebook page.

Citizen’s Voice reported that Bellanco had no idea that “liking” Facebook photos and videos was a violation of the judge’s order.

According to the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, Bellanco obtained a protection from abuse order against Holland in April 2014 after she allegedly choked him during a domestic dispute.
