Lady Gaga, Chris Pine and 47 More Stars Honor the 49 Victims of Orlando's Pulse Nightclub Shooting
In a video by the Human Rights Campaign, 49 stars share details of the victims' lives
Everybody has a life story, filled with struggles, challenges, hopes and dreams.
Believing that the victims’ stories should not be forgotten, the Human Rights Campaign enlisted 49 celebrities – one for each victim of the shooting – to pay tribute to the victims by sharing their individual stories on video.
“The hate that stole these 49 individuals from all those who loved them has been allowed to flourish in our country for too long,” Murphy said in a statement. “No person is born hating another, and we have an obligation as Americans to stand up against prejudice and bigotry that would incite violence against someone simply for who they are.”
