Brendon, who was in town to attend Tree City Comic Con, was picked up by police at 10:40 p.m., according to an arrest report from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. The 43-year-old, who was unshaven and appeared red-eyed with a bruise on his cheek in his mug shot, was charged with two misdemeanor counts: malicious injury to property and resisting or obstructing officers. Officers were called to a hotel after reports of a disturbance in the lobby involving the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star and hotel staff, the Boise Police Department said in a statement. Brendon “showed signs of intoxication and repeatedly refused officers commands to stay seated while officers tried to speak to witnesses,” according to the statement. He was taken into custody after he repeatedly tried to walk away. Hotel staff claim that Brendon broke a decorative dish, and police say that additional charges are possible after speaking with witnesses. Best known for playing Xander Harris on the beloved supernatural show, Brendon checked himself into a rehab clinic for alcohol problems in 2004. “After realizing that I had a disease that was taking control of my life, I decided that the best way for me to regain my health was to enter a treatment facility,” he said at the time. Six years later, the Criminal Minds star returned to rehab, shortly after being tasered by police and charged with vandalism, resisting arrest and battery against a police officer. The actor married girlfriend Moonda Tee in Las Vegas earlier this month, just a week after proposing. Want more stories like this?
