A new ISIS video surfaced on Wednesday that made a chilling warning of an impending attack on New York City, CNN reports.

The footage is said to show an explosive device being attached to a man wearing a ‘suicide belt’ who is seen hiding it by zipping up his bomber jacket. The video also mentions Times Square.

In a statement, the New York City Police Department told CNN that it was aware of the video, saying: “While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target.”

The statement continued: “While there is no current or specific threat to the City at this time, we will remain at a heightened state of vigilance and will continue to work with the FBI, the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the entire intelligence community to keep the City of New York safe.”

Mayor Bill de Blasio also took to Twitter to post his own statement regarding the video: “Stoking fear is the goal of terrorist organizations, but New York City will not be intimidated.” He added that the NYPD are “the most capable police force in the country, with a robust counterterrorism operation that was just strengthened with an investment of 500 additional officers.”

According to recent reports, The Islamic State (ISIS) said in a press release on Saturday that the deadly Paris attacks were the “first of the storm” and mocked the country as a “capital of prostitution and obscenity.”

Last Friday night’s devastating series of coordinated attacks left at least 129 dead and 352 injured.
