A former high school English teacher in New Jersey has admitted to sending nude photos of herself to a male student, according to multiple reports.

Michelina Aichele pleaded guilty to child endangerment on Wednesday for sending a student nude pictures and having sexual conversations with him through social media and email, the Associated Press, the Bridgewater Courier News and report.

Aichele, 30, will be sentenced in July and Somerset County prosecutors say they will recommend she spend one year behind bars. She must also register as a sex offender and surrender her teaching certificate.

Aichele was arrested in October after a fellow student went to school officials and reported her inappropriate behavior with another, reports.

When school officials questioned the pair, both Aichele and the 16-year-old male student denied any wrongdoing.

However, during police questioning, the male student revealed that for months Aichele had been sending him nude photos, a criminal complaint obtained by states.

“He further stated that she sent him text messages through Snapchat” about her erotic thoughts about him, the criminal complaint states, reports.

Authorities also learned Aichele urged the victim to take the so-called “Rice Purity Test,” a survey measuring a person’s promiscuity, reports.

Aichele had been teaching English at the school since 2012, the Courier News reports. She used her school email address to contact the victim, reports the AP.

Before pleading guilty, Aichele faced up to five years in prison. After her arrest, the school district provided counseling for students.
