Along with joy came anxiety for this weekend’s Miss Teen USA winner, Cassidy Wolf.

The blonde beauty, 19, is involved in a case being investigated by the FBI, following a threat from an anonymous person claiming to be in possession of nude photos taken of Wolf from her webcam.

“There is a federal investigation underway. She was cyber-stalked on her computer. Friends of hers were also stalked,” a source close to Wolf tells PEOPLE. “She is really happy to have the Miss Universe organization to help her get through this.”

The source adds, “She was raised by a single mom, so this very hard for her and her mom to deal with. Winning Miss Teen USA has helped her cope with the situation and has given her comfort that people are looking out for her.”

The Orange County, Calif.,-based pageant star said the suspect tried to extort her so she could avoid the photos going public.
