Prison Time for Burglar Who Broke into Miley Cyrus' Home
Rusty Sellner was reportedly sentenced to two years behind bars for breaking into her home last December
A man who broke into Miley Cyrus‘ home last year is heading to prison.
Rusty Sellner was sentenced Wednesday to two years in a California state prison, the Associated Press reports.
Sellner, 22, broke into the pop star’s Toluca Lake home in December and stole items belonging to the “Wrecking Ball” singer, 22, and her brother. He pleaded not guilty to burglary, receiving stolen property and grand theft in January.
However, prosecutors dropped the receiving stolen property and grant theft charges after he pleaded no contest in February, per the AP, which also reports Sellner had previous convictions for burglary and evading arrest.

This is not the first time thieves who targeted Cyrus will head behind bars. Last September, an Arizona couple accepted a plea deal for prison time, per TMZ, for stealing the star’s Maserati and other personal items last year.
