A Long Island man was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted two young sisters while delivering furniture in Queens, New York, last week, PEOPLE confirms.
Edward Ramirez, 44, was arraigned on Monday afternoon on charges of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly molesting the two children, ages 5 and 6.
Ramirez allegedly assaulted the girls while another deliveryman assembled the furniture in another room. He was arrested after the siblings told their parents what happened to them.

This is third arrest in a little over a year for Ramirez, who is accused in two other sex crimes.
He was arrested in June and charged with unlawful surveillance after he left a cellphone in the women’s bathroom at Jack’s Shack restaurant in Glen Head, New York. And he was arrested last November after he allegedly exposed himself to a pair of sisters in the Glen Cove Stop & Shop. He pleaded not guilty in both cases and is currently awaiting trial.
Ramirez was out on bail at the time of last week’s alleged assault. He is now being held on $50,000 bond.
