Lil Wayne to Celebrate Homecoming in Las Vegas, Miami
The rapper may share the stage with Drake in a show on Saturday
Las Vegas and Miami: You’ve been warned.
Now that he’s out of the big house, Lil Wayne has 8 months worth of partying to catch up on, and these hot spots seem to be at the top of his itinerary.
Although the rapper has been presumably spending time with family since his release on Thursday (“Family first,” Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams said), his weekend is jam-packed. First stop? Vegas, where it is rumored Wayne will join the stage with pal Drake on Saturday, according to MTV.
The show is the final stop on Drake’s Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour, and he hinted there was an extra incentive for concertgoers.
“I would just advise you to book a ticket out there,” Drake, 24, says.
Wayne, 28, who Tweeted a post-jail shot of himself, cigar in hand, will also celebrate his freedom South Beach style at an as-yet-undisclosed club in Miami on Sunday. Celeb party planner Colin Cowie is planning the “over-the-top” bash, and Wayne will celebrate his homecoming with hundreds of guest, including Birdman, Drake and Jay Sean.
