Mother of Newborn Twins Missing for More Than 2 Weeks After Leaving a Local Bar with 2 Men
The 22-year-old woman was captured on surveillance video leaving the bar with two men
Police in Richmond, Kentucky are looking for answers after a 22-year-old woman mysteriously disappeared after leaving a local bar.
Savannah Spurlock was last seen in the parking lot of The Other Bar on Friday Jan. 4, Richmond Police Department said in a news release shared on Facebook.
In photos obtained by surveillance cameras, Spurlock can be seen walking with two unidentified men, according to the news release.
Police are asking anyone with information on the men in the photos to contact Lt. Col. Rodney of Richardson — in hopes of bringing Spurlock home.
It is not immediately clear if Spurlock knew the men she was seen with, or if she had met them that night.
Spurlock is the mother of four children — including twin babies who were born last month, Lexington Herald-Leader reported.
On the day she vanished, Spurlock called her mom, her aunt Elaine Moore told the Herald-Leader.
“She talked to her mom at about 2:30 a.m. when she was leaving the bar and told her she would be home in a few hours,” Moore explained.
“That’s the last time she talked to her. She’s always been very good letting her parents know if she’s staying out late, for them not to worry about her.”
“She’s a very sweet, kind-hearted young lady and would do anything to help anybody,” Moore continued. “You hate to think about this for anybody. This is just your worst nightmare.”
As the search for Spurlock continues, her family has grown increasingly worried.
Spurlock’s aunt Lisa Thoma shared an emotional video on Facebook thanking those who have prayed for her niece’s return.
“The family is having a hard time, but we’re leaning into each other, we’re leaning into God,” Thoma said holding back tears. “If you know anything, we beg you, come forward and call the Richmond, Kentucky police department.”
Spurlock’s mother has also spoken out.
“I’m lost,” Ellen Spurlock told WKYT.

Her absence has been especially hard on her young children.
“He doesn’t know what’s going on, but my fear is how long can that take place, you know?” Ellen said of her daughter’s 4-year-old son.
“How long can that take place? Her newborn twins, her two-year-old — the twins are too young but the two-year-old, he misses his mommy. He saw her on TV one night and said ‘mommy.’ He misses her,” Ellen told WKYT.
Ellen is doing her best to remain hopeful.
“I cope with it by praying and believing that she is still out there and somebody knows something and will come forward,” Ellen told the station.
At this time the investigation is ongoing. The Richmond Police Department has said Spurlock has multiple tattoos, including one that reads “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
