Comedian Katt Williams is behind bars in Georgia, facing several charges after he allegedly threatened to kill his bodyguard, PEOPLE confirms.

The embattled comedian, whose real name is Micah Williams, has been charged with aggravated assault, false imprisonment and terroristic threats, police tell PEOPLE.

Authorities say that on Feb. 28, Williams’ bodyguard, Corey Dixon, refused to comply with the comedian’s orders to commit unspecified crimes, after which Williams and “several of his associates” allegedly confined Dixon.

Dixon was then taken to Williams’ home where he was allegedly choked and beaten with a baseball bat by 24-year-old Tatiana Smith, police say.

“[Williams] ordered the assault and stood there while the assault was happening,” Deputy Nicole Bailes, with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, told WSB-TV. “It is my understanding that there were firearms present. Mr. Williams had a firearm on his person.”

Williams was arrested on Tuesday in Gainesville after police found several firearms and marijuana in his home when executing a search warrant, police say.

Tatiana faces charges of aggravated assault, misdemeanor marijuana possession and possession of Alprazolam.

Another woman, 40-year-old Lena Smith is charged with felony possession of marijuana. It is not known if Tatiana or Lena Williams have entered pleas or retained counsel.

A hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday in Gainesville, Fox News reports.

The arrest marks the comedian’s second since Feb. 29. He was arrested last month after a store clerk accused the comedian of punching him during an argument.

An attorney has accused Williams of attacking five women in Atlanta one day before the alleged store clerk incident.

Williams is currently awaiting trial for an alleged robbery in 2014.

It is now known whether Williams has entered a plea to any of the charges against him or retained counsel.
