The same day former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle agreed to plea guilty to having sex with minors and obtaining child pornography, his high school removed him from its Wall of Fame.

Fogle graduated North Central High School on the north side of Indianapolis in 1995. He was added to the Wall of Fame, which includes photos of 102 other notable graduates, in a May 2007 ceremony.

In response to news today, The Advancement Center for Washington Township Schools and North Central Alumni will remove Jared Fogle from the North Central High School Wall of Fame, effective August 19, 2015, the school wrote in a written statement to PEOPLE.
