Halle Berry, mother to 4-year-old daughter Nahla with Gabriel Aubry, reportedly has some stiff child-support payments ahead of her.

After a court appearance earlier this week, Berry, 45, has been ordered to pay Aubry $20,000 a month, which adds up to nearly a quarter of a million dollars a year, reports TMZ.com.

Berry and Aubry, a French-Canadian model, split in April 2010 and have been locked in a custody battle over Nahla.

Last year, Berry said, “Our issues were never about fighting for her. We both know a child needs both her parents. But what I want to say about it is sometimes, as a couple, you reach an impasse. We needed a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues … because for her sake, this is the best way. We both love her more than life.”

Berry is now engaged to actor Olivier Martinez.

Berry’s rep had no comment – and reps for Aubry did not immediately respond to request for comment.
