Gary Collins has been formally charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following his arrest last week, an L.A. City Attorney rep confirms. His arraignment is set for Nov. 16.

Collins was busted on suspicion of DUI after an accident in the San Fernando Valley on Oct. 23. Police say the former Hour Magazine and Home Show host, 69, was not at fault for the crash, but was found to be under the influence.

Collins was driving a Ford Explorer when a Toyota driven by an 89-year-old man allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with Collins. Collins’s car then hit two parked cars.

If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Collins could not be reached for comment.
