Foxy Brown Released from Isolation

The rapper, who is serving a year in jail, had been in solitary for a shoving incident

Foxy Brown is back in the general prison population at New York’s Rikers Island after serving 40 days in solitary confinement for violations that included shoving another inmate, according to reports.

The rapper, who is serving a year in jail for violating probation, recently received 76 days in punitive isolation for various offenses at the prison but served only 40 days on account of good behavior, and the New York Post are reporting.

Brown, 28, still must serve out the rest of her prison term, which she earned after facing several assault charges in the past two years.

Brown reportedly was sent to her own cell after what the Post described as a “bloody shoving match” with another inmate, as well as other violations.
