Officials said Monday that four vehicles have been shot at on I-10 in Phoenix since Saturday.

Bullets struck three vehicles on Saturday and another on Monday morning, injuring one and sparking fears of a sniper, The Republic reports.

“Should we be concerned? Absolutely,” Arizona Department of Public Safety Director Frank Milstead told reporters on Monday. “There’s been no tragedy, but there very well could be.”

A 13-year-old girl suffered a cut to her ear on Saturday after a bullet pierced the windshield of the car she was riding in, according to CNN. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Officials said it appeared as if multiple shots were fired at each vehicle. There is no connection between the victims, other than that they were driving on the same freeway, officials said.

“We are piecing together the story,” Milstead said. “What we are really asking is the public’s help to be a good witness while we further investigate all of the evidence.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DPS at 602-223-2212.
