Lindsay Lohan's mom was arrested in September. She will be fined and sentenced to community service
Dina Lohan pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to driving while intoxicated and speeding.
The mother of actress Lindsay Lohan – whose own struggles with alcohol are well-documented – appeared in Nassau District Court in Long Island, N.Y., according to Newsday. She will be sentenced June 3, when prosecutors expect her to be given 100 hours of community service and a nearly $3,000 fine, the paper reports.
State troopers arrested Lohan, 51, in September for going 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. Her blood alcohol level was 0.2 percent, more than twice the legal limit.
“Dina Lohan is a good person. Her life has been dedicated to her four children. She has worked hard her entire life and she has been a ‘parent trapped’ with the entire world watching her in a fishbowl with murky water due to no fault of her own,” her lawyer said in a statement at the time, referencing the Disney remake that made her daughter famous.
