Columbus Short's Wife Files for Divorce, Claims Death Threats
The Scandal actor allegedly accosted his wife with a knife while intoxicated
Less than a month after Scandal‘s Columbus Short was arrested for getting into a bar fight, the actor is now in more legal hot water.
On Tuesday, his wife, Tuere Tanee Short, not only filed for divorce from the actor, 31, but was also granted a temporary restraining order, according to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Tuere alleges that her ex was drunk and threatened to kill her and himself last week, according to the restraining order request. She also seeks full legal and physical custody of their daughter Ayala, 2.
A rep for Short has not responded to requests for comment.
A hearing is set for May 6.
