At least two armed intruders burst into Chris Brown‘s Tarzana home early Wednesday morning and locked his aunt in a closet, PEOPLE confirms.
Though the star wasn’t at home, Brown’s aunt was there when “at least two, possibly more” armed men forced their way into the house around 2 a.m., says an LAPD spokesman about the incident, first reported by TMZ.
According to police, the men stole money, “some electronic devices” and other property.
Brown was at Argyle club in Hollywood during the invasion for a pre-ESPY event. The star performed with Kid Ink on stage and sang more than five songs “well after 2 a.m.,” says a partygoer.
The singer’s rep could not be reached for comment.
