Prayers for Brussels: Miley Cyrus and Kerry Washington Lead Stars Mourning Bomb Victims – 'When Will This End and the Love Begin?'
At least 31 were killed in a series of attacks in Belgium on Tuesday
The world is in shock on Tuesday following the terror attacks in Brussels killed at least 31 and injured as many as 187 people.
While more details from the explosions at the Brussels Zaventem Airport and the Maalbeek Metro Station station pour in, many stars took to social media to share both their disbelief and condolences for the victims and for Belgium.
Some, like Kerry Washington, kept things simple with a praying hands emoji.
Others, like Miley Cyrus called for “more love less evil,” and shared images paying tribute to the country.
“My heart breaks for Brussels today My heart breaks for the world today…. When will this end, and the love begin….. This isn’t the planet I wanna live on,” Cyrus wrote.
“Sending thoughts and prayers to #Brussels,” wrote former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman. “Devastating and terrifying things happening in this world.”

A variety of tribute images have been shared to Twitter by people around the world, including a set of holding hands with the colors of the Belgian flag and a cartoon from Le Monde.
Two explosions went off at the airport’s Departures Hall early Tuesday. An hour later, an explosion occurred at the metro station, which is located near the headquarters of the European Union. Shortly after, the airport and metro system were shut down. The terror alert has subsequently been raised to a level four, the highest possible level.
