Body of Missing Oregon Mom Jennifer Huston Found 12 Days Later
Mother of two Jennifer Huston disappeared July 24
Police have found the body of missing Oregon woman Jennifer Huston after a weeks-long search.
The mother of two was discovered dead Tuesday near her Lexus SUV on a rural road in Yamhill County, local station KTPV reports. There was no sign of foul play.
In a press conference Tuesday, officers said it does not seem like Huston crashed her car, noting the apparent cause of death will not yet be released as the investigation continues.
The Facebook page “Find Jennifer Huston” confirmed the sad news, posting, “Thank you to everyone who has helped us search for Jennifer. We are grieving at this time and ask that we be given privacy.”
Huston, 38, vanished July 24 after stopping at a Rite Aid in Newberg, Oregon, for Gatorade, trail mix and sleeping pills.
Authorities seemed to develop a lead in her disappearance Sunday, when a couple reported seeing a woman matching Huston’s description board a ferry in Anacortes, Washington.
She leaves behind her husband, Kallen, and their young sons, ages 6 and 2.
