Crime Barron Hilton Pleads No Contest to DUI Paris's younger brother is sentenced to probation and must visit a morgue By Ken Lee Published on April 9, 2008 02:30 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage Paris Hilton‘s younger brother Barron pleaded no contest to driving under the influence Wednesday and was sentenced by a Malibu court to three years probation – and, like Lindsay Lohan, ordered to visit a morgue. Barron, 18, also pleaded no contest to having a fake ID. A second DUI count and a charge of being an unlicensed driver were dropped, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office confirms. Barron was also sentenced to two alcohol education classes and had his license suspended for a year. He’s due back in court on June 4 for a restitution hearing for the gas station employee’s car he allegedly hit. He was arrested Feb. 12 after another driver observed his black Mercedes driving erratically on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. A sobriety test found his blood-alcohol level was .14 percent, authorities said. The California legal limit for a person over 21 is .08 percent, but for a person under 21, any blood-alcohol level is considered legally drunk. His sister Paris, 27, famously spent time in jail on her own alcohol-related driving case. Like Barron Hilton, Lohan, 22, was ordered to visit a morgue as part of her DUI-related convictions. First-time DUI offenders are frequently ordered to California’s HAM (Hospital and Morgue) program, which includes a tour of the L.A. County Coroner’s refrigerated crypt. His plea was first reported by TMZ. Like this story? Click on the Yahoo Buzz! button below to Buzz it up!
