Federal authorities allege a man arrested last week in Salt Lake City, Utah, impregnated a 14-year-old girl he had met on Facebook and further accuse him of treating her like a slave over several months while holding her hostage in his Ohio apartment.

According to a copy of the criminal complaint against Cody Jackson, filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Columbus, Ohio, the 20-year-old has been charged with child pornography production as well as coercing and enticing a minor for illegal sexual activity.

The complaint contends Jackson met his alleged victim on Facebook in February while he was under electronic monitoring in connection with another abduction case. Jackson arranged for taxis to drive her to his home in Norwood, Ohio, for sex over several weeks. Then, in March, the situation allegedly changed.

Jackson, according to the complaint, started becoming more controlling and eventually refused to let the girl leave one evening. Soon, Jackson reportedly implemented restrictive rules with physically abusive punishments.

The formal complaint alleges Jackson started controlling every aspect of the 14-year-old girl’s life, dictating when she could shower, eat, contact her relatives and use the bathroom. The girl was only allowed out of the house if Jackson accompanied her and was warned not to speak to other men or even look at them, reads the complaint.

Additionally, Jackson allegedly forced himself on the girl every day and forbade her from sleeping when he was awake or looking out the windows. Authorities further claim Jackson made the girl bathe him.

The abuse allegedly ended in August when Jackson went on the lam after being convicted in the other abduction case, officials claim. The complaint contends he fled to South Carolina and Texas.

While on the run, he maintained contact with the pregnant 14-year-old, allegedly threatening to slaughter her family whenever she would not send him pictures of her naked.

A Drug Enforcement Agent approached Jackson at a bus station in Salt Lake City last week. After a few questions, Jackson allegedly started running. The agent chased him down and made the arrest.

He has not yet had a court appearance, officials tell PEOPLE, as U.S. Marshals are currently transporting him to Ohio, where he could face more charges in the coming weeks. If convicted, he faces between 30 years to life behind bars.
