How ’bout maybe tonight we two-step to Demi Lovato (yes, that Demi Lovato).
Shedding her pop roots, the 23-year-old is rocking out with country star Brad Paisley in the new music video for their hit single “Without a Fight.”
In the clip, directed by Jeff Venable and produced by Michelle Wang and Greg Hill, Paisley, 43, and Lovato face off in a dimly lit warehouse.
Paisley starts off the video on guitar, while Lovato – wearing a leather jacket with a simple white t-shirt and with a flannel tied around her waist – watches perched on a nearby chair.
Soon, they come together under a hanging microphone, belting out powerful lyrics like, “Sometimes I think we’re fighting just to be lovers.”
The entire clip features with unique lighting, lens flares and star graphics. Scenes of Lovato and Paisley cut away to a lone guitar – first in melting snow, and then, later, on fire.
“Our video is out!” Paisley proudly declared in a Twitter video with Lovato on Friday, which was recorded after the pair took the stage together on Good Morning America in New York City.
