The Band Perry opened the ACM Awards with a bang.
Well, a bang, a chainsaw, and a whole lot of confetti.
The group performed their hit “Chainsaw,” setting the bar high for the rest of the evening’s performances. Guitarist Neil and bassist Reid ran roughly the equivalent of a 5K as they bounced around the stage.
And for a closer, they dumped confetti on a crowd who takes their hair very seriously. “There’s 20 million dollars in hairdos down here and it all has confetti in it,” co-host Luke Bryan joked after the group’s performance wrapped.
