Hunter Hayes, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood also earned nods

Some familiar Nashville faces and some newer country artists led the pack as the 2014 Teen Choice Awards announced country music nominees this week.

In the choice female country artist category, Jana Kramer and Kacey Musgraves will face off against Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.

Vying for this year’s choice male country artist are favorites Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan and relative newbie Hunter Hayes.

The five acts up for choice country group include Florida George Line, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Parmalee and the Zac Brown Band (tough call!).
