Stephen Barker Liles wed Jenna Michelle Kennedy at The Ruby boutique event center in Nashville on Sunday night, the Love and Theft musician’s rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. The pair first dated seven years ago, drifted apart, then reconnected on Facebook before getting engaged in May 2013, when Liles, 30, dropped down on one knee on the beach in Fort Myers, Florida. “I loved her for a long time and would have asked her sooner, but wanted to wait until I could get her a nice ring,” he told PEOPLE after popping the question with a 2.34-carat yellow center cut diamond. Making sure to keep the wedding a family affair, the couple brought their 9-month-old son Jett up to the altar for a special dedication and included their siblings, along with Liles’ bandmate Eric Gunderson, in the wedding party. Liles’s father, Donnie, performed the ceremony. The bride, dressed in a David Tutera mermaid gown, was walked down the aisle by her brother Joe. About 200 guests were on hand to witness the wedding, planned by Vision in White Events. “I am so blessed to have [Jenna] in my life and for us to become one,” Liles told PEOPLE shortly after the couple’s engagement. “She is my best friend and I am so grateful for the Lord bringing her into my life.” Want more stories like this?
