One Day on the Road with Sam Hunt
WALK THAT WALK
Country singer Sam Hunt is on the move in L.A. on Jan. 29, heading to the opening night of the Lipstick Graffiti tour, his first headlining tour, at the famed Troubadour club.
But before kicking off the concert, there's business to attend to: Hunt meets with Matt Steffanina from Millennium Dance Studio to watch a dance that was choreographed to his song "Take Your Time."
SET THE SCENE
You're in L.A. now, baby! Hunt takes it all in from the Troubadour stage.
WARM IT UP
Rehearsals include a run-through of a medley of songs by chart-topping women – Reba McEntire, Mariah Carey, Destiny's Child and Whitney Houston among them.
Hunt's set list gets all set up backstage. Look familiar? His album Montevallo is currently No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
Time for a tune-up! The man and his band are in perfect harmony during rehearsals ahead of a pre-show workout at a nearby gym.
OUT OF THIS WORLD

MAKE SOME NOISE
With just a few minutes until showtime, Hunt gets his voice going in his dressing room.
IN THE THICK OF IT
And we're on! The singer hits the stage, starting off his show with "X2C," "Leave the Night On" and "Raised on It."
Though the ACM new artist of the year nominee is the star, the crowd joined in for every song.
And he joined the crowd! It's a photo frenzy as Hunt hops into the pit. "Lipstick Graffiti kick off at the Troubadour was something else!" he later Tweeted.
Fans congratulate the singer on a job well done after the set. Following Lipstick Graffiti, Hunt will join Hunter Hayes and Lady Antebellum on this summer's Wheels Up tour.
THAT'S A WRAP
What a day! And the fun was just starting: The next night, Hunt performed at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.
