Inside Ryan Hurd's Sold-Out Nashville Tour Stop: Behind-the-Scenes

Rising country star Ryan Hurd recently sold out the famed Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, Tennessee on his headlining Platonic Tour.

The venue celebrated Hurd's sold-out performance with a gift for his growing family. He and wife Maren Morris are expecting a baby boy in late March.

Hurd addresses a VIP reception before the show. "Nashville shows can sometimes be intimidating, because you've got some many friends and family and team members and industry folks in the audience," he said. "But it's also great to have the support of those people in the room. It's added nerves but added excitement, too."

"I've played Cannery as an opener for other artists, so this is a full-circle moment to come back and sell it out my first time here as a headliner," said Hurd.

"I still get nervous that people won't show up or they'll find something better to do for the night. So walking out and seeing people sing my songs back and knowing they're here because they connect with my music is something I'll never take for granted."
