If anyone needs inspiration for how to live life post-divorce, see Reba McEntire!

The singer, who had us all wanting to sing out loud in Italy late last year, recently conquered the Canadian Rockies in a trip from Banff to Vancouver aboard the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer train.

“It was the most beautiful scenery you’ve ever seen in your life,” McEntire raved to PEOPLE about the trip she took with a group of pals last month. “The second day was totally different scenery than the first day, because it was more desert. It was absolutely beautiful. The hospitality was just excellent. It was amazing!”

Following her split last year from husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, McEntire, 61, seems to be in a good place now and says the future looks bright.

“I’m having a great time traveling and working,” she says. “I’ve got a great team of people that I’m working with, who are coming up with new ideas for me to do things that I haven’t done in the past. I’m having a wonderful time with Brooks and Dunn, with our residency in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Coliseum.”

McEntire continued: “It’s just a lot of great things that I’m getting to do that I’m looking forward to. Hanging out with my friends and my family, just enjoying life. I’m having a blast.”
