The cast of Nashville threw a party at Rayna James’s house this weekend – and even the fictional country star’s ex was invited in.

“This is the first time I’ve been allowed back in my house since Rayna kicked me out,” actor Eric Close (Teddy Conrad) joked about his TV ex, played by Connie Britton. “It’s really good to be back!”

Just over a week before the show’s premiere (Sept. 24 on ABC), Close and several other cast members partied and performed Saturday night at the Nashville house that’s used as Rayna’s home to raise money for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

“We love this town,” said Chip Esten (Deacon Claybourne), who sang “No One Will Ever Love You” with T Bone Burnett. “Our show is about this town and Second Harvest feeds the stomach of this city.”

Saturday’s benefit raised $200,000 for Second Harvest, which works to eliminate hunger in 46 counties in Middle and West Tennessee.
