As a singer and songwriter, Miranda Lambert knows the healing power of music better than anyone – and it seems she’s been immersing herself in it.

Lambert has taken to social media to share what she’s been listening to lately. She even shared some powerful lyrics immediately following the news that her ex Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, are now dating.

“I could spend ages reading the news, I could spend days, singing the blues,” Lambert wrote, quoting the song “Better Than” by the band Lake Street Dive. “But I turn up the tv light. Give up without a fight. Better than pretending to know what’s wrong and what’s right.”

Here’s what else Lambert’s been listening to:

Mr. Misunderstood by Eric Church. The tune tells the tale of a misfit kid that finds his way through music.

Lambert also posted a playlist of songs from her fellow Texan, singer-songwriter Maren Morris’ self-titled EP.

“Come Early Morning” by Don Williams. Lambert takes it old school with this 1973 tune, Williams’ second hit.

“Better Than” by Lake Street Drive. Lambert revealed she was really digging the indie pop band from Massachusetts and emphasized the poignant lyrics with the message, “This song. This band. These lyrics.”
