Miranda Lambert was in an introspective mood on Thursday.

The country singer took to her Facebook on Thursday to share some powerful lyrics that fans will no doubt find poignant following the news that her ex Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, are now dating.

“I could spend ages reading the news, I could spend days, singing the blues,” Lambert wrote, quoting the song “Better Than” by the band Lake Street Dive. “But I turn up the tv light. Give up without a fight. Better than pretending to know what’s wrong and what’s right.”

Lambert, 31, commented after quoting the lyrics: “This song. This band. These lyrics. @lakestreetdive thanks @ape_lewis for turning me on to this.”

On Wednesday, shortly before the CMA Awards, PEOPLE confirmed that Shelton, 39, and Stefani, 46, are officially dating. Shelton later tweeted that night that there are “so many great things happening in my life.”

At the event, Lambert gave a show-stopping performance, rocking out to her new single “Bathroom Sink.” She thanked her fans in an emotional message on Thursday night.

Alongside a picture of herself and her horse she wrote: “I’m still floating around on a cloud from last night. Thank you so much @cma for celebrating country music in a big way and for letting me be part of it. Today was a day spent reflecting on this amazing life that Nashville and country music fans have given me. And my friends. I’m so grateful.”
