It’s not every day you get some good advice from a sidewalk.

Miranda Lambert was in New York City Wednesday before heading upstate for her Thursday concert in Syracuse. And at one point, the star spotted one of the many “Protect Yo’ Heart” pieces of stencil graffiti that dot sidewalks across the city.

“I don’t normally lay on the sidewalk in NYC,” Lambert, 31, wrote on Instagram, next to a picture of her posing with the art. “Words move me words make me move,” she added.

It’s tempting to want to read into this given Lambert’s recent divorce from Blake Shelton, 39. The pair have remained friendly post-split, though: They playfully bantered on Twitter in July, and in August Lambert was spotted singing along to a Shelton song at a Nashville music venue. On Monday night, the singer performed a cover of Loretta Lynn’s “Rated X” at the ACM Honors. Lynn “sang songs that were not necessarily appropriate at times – like this for me,” Lambert said.
