The country singer has chosen an unusual marketing scheme for his new album
What does Luke Bryan smell like? Now you can find out without invading his personal space and probably getting arrested.
In an unusual marketing stunt to promote his fifth album, Kill the Lights, which hits shelves Friday, the country singer, 39, is making himself available to fans in the form of a new scent of candle.
Those curious can enter a contest sponsored by Yankee Candle. Some lucky winners will receive the Luke Bryan-scented candle and an autographed copy of the new album, and one lucky winner will receive the grand prize – the candle, the CD, a vanilla bourbon gift basket and a guitar autographed by Bryan. (The candle is not currently available in stores, but make your voices heard, Luke Bryan fans, and it may one day be flying off the shelves nationwide.)

According to the company’s site, the Luke Bryan candle emits a “chart-topping fragrance” that is described as “a traditional warm-me-up on a cold winter’s day – a mug full of something steaming topped with a layer of thick vanilla cream and laced with a dash of strong bourbon. Warm and sweet, just like Luke!”
That’s plenty convincing, Yankee Candle. You had us at the phrase “something steaming.”
