Grand Marshal Luke – we like the sound of that!

Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline headed south to New Orleans last weekend where he took the helm at the Krewe of Endymion parade.

Before hopping aboard his float, the singer treated the crowd to an impromptu jazz version of his hit song “I See You.” “This won’t be my last [Mardi Gras],” he promised, adding jokingly, “This first year I won’t remember it right, isn’t that how it works?”

Clad in colorful beads, he and Caroline spent more than three hours on their float throwing handfuls of necklaces into the crowd.

Bryan, 38, wasn’t the only country singer hitting up the Mardi Gras festivities: On Monday, Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy led the Krewe of Orpheus parade.

And in what is undoubtedly one of the more random celebrity combinations we’ve seen lately, Bentley, 39, shared the spotlight with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump. While we’ll never know what the country boy and L.A. girl talked about, from the looks of their snapshots and Tweets, they were obviously having an amazing time.
