Hillary Scott safely evacuates her tour bus after it catches fire while traveling to the ACM Awards in Texas

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott got quite a scare Thursday morning when the tour bus she was traveling in en route to the ACM Awards in Arlington, Texas, caught fire while driving down the highway.

Luckily, nobody was injured. The singer shared a photo of the charred bus on social media (see below), along with the following message:

“Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary”

Lady Antebellum is up for vocal group of the year and will perform at the 50th Annual ACM Awards, airing live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
