Newlyweds Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans are taking marriage cues from another Nashville couple: Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman!

“They’re the ultimate power couple and so in love,” says Ballerini, 24, of the singer and actress. “Morgan read they have a rule. Whether she’s shooting a movie or he’s touring, they always see each other every two weeks. You hold each other accountable to make time for each other.”

Ballerini has enjoyed a particularly busy year, and her schedule won’t slow down anytime soon. Following a best new artist nomination at the Grammys in February, the “Legends” singer hit the road with Lady Antebellum and released her sophomore album Unapologetically in November. Then, on Dec. 2, she and “I Do” singer Evans, 32, tied the knot in an intimate, oceanside ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

With a jam-packed 2018 touring schedule, the pair will only get busier. But they say they’re grateful to share the ride with one another.

“I think the great thing about both of us is we both wanted to be rock stars. That’s our dream, that’s our goal,” says Ballerini. “When I was younger I was dreaming about touring, and same with him. So I think it’s just kind of been us making the dream together rather than having it separately and then combining it.”

Adds Ballerini: “When you can do everything you want and then share it with someone … that makes for a full life.”
