Sure, Jason Aldean rocks out hard on stage. His fans know him – and love him – as one of country music’s ultimate party guys. But the superstar actually takes it much easier when he’s not performing.

“Offstage, I’m not nearly as rowdy as you might think,” Aldean, whose album Old Boots, New Dirt is currently available for free on Google Play, told PEOPLE. “At home, I’m pretty laid-back.”

So, how exactly does the singer unwind when he has some down time on his Burn It Down tour? He shared some of his favorite binge-worthy TV shows, movies, apps and music with us. See below:

Favorite TV shows: Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds, Entourage, and Eastbound and Down.

Favorite Movies: Field of Dreams and The Shawshank Redemption for longer stretches on the road. But Aldean also likes a good horror flick – Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Evil Dead top his list.

Favorite Apps: The MLB and WatchESPN apps, Duck Commander and Netflix.

Favorite Music: On his playlist are Kenny Chesney’s album The Big Revival, as well as the latest from his opening acts Cole Swindell and Tyler Farr.
