Miranda Lambert‘s vehicle is the queen of the road. Quite literally.

The “Automatic” singer was gushing Sunday as she gave PEOPLE an exclusive tour of Wanda The Wanderer, her 1954 Airstream trailer that will hit the road this week and offer fans a chance to have what Lambert calls “the Platinum experience,” referring to her upcoming album Platinum.

“Isn’t she beautiful,” she said of the silver bullet complete with a 6-foot-wide, 3-foot-tall aluminum crown affixed to the top. “Wanda has been on the road with us for almost 5 years and she was pretty road weary. I think the last tour, Me and Raelynn [Woodward] and Dierks [Bentley] were in here seeing how much we could make her rock and there was some damage done.”

Wanda the Wanderer, who has her own Twitter account, is traveling across the country to give fans a chance to listen to the new album, have a few drinks and hang out where the Grammy winner has actually written songs. The Airstream will make stops in seven cities across the country on the Platinum Across America tour.

Named Wanda after her grandmother, Wanda Coker, the Airstream was originally designed to have a bar, a sound system and an air conditioner. It’s still fairly true to that original plan, save for the giant crown on top.

“When I named my album Platinum, I don’t know if people knew what I was trying to accomplish. It wasn’t about platinum album sales, it’s was about blonde hair and beer and Airstreams and jewelry and just being over the top,” she said inside the silver bullet trailer in a sea of celebrity trailers at the Billboard Music Awards. “That’s why amidst all these tour buses and trailer, here sits Wanda.”
