It’s the year of the Garth Brooks cover!

From Staten Island to Africa, it seems that school choirs really love the song “People Loving People.”

A school for orphans in Malawi shared its version of the Brooks tune with a video posted to Facebook. “Jacaranda School for Orphans in Malawi joins the ‘People Loving People’ movement! Thank you Garth Brooks for this beautiful song,” stated a message from the school.

“In 2015, our dream is that people around the world share this message of love, friendship and peace. Our orphan children know how important receiving and giving love is. With love, anything is possible,” said the message.

And Brooks is clearly overjoyed with all the love his inspiring song has been getting.

“I believe ‘love’ is a universal language. I also believe ‘music’ is a universal language,” the star wrote on Facebook. “These children are fluent in both…so sweet. God bless us all…love, g.”

The video clip comes just four days after an elementary school choir in Staten Island, New York, posted their performance of the song, which also got a reaction from Brooks on social media.

“When we learn to love like children…just beautiful @PS22Chorus. love, g,” he wrote.
