Florida Georgia Line is used to playing for huge crowds on their headlining arena tour, but the guys scaled it way back on Tuesday afternoon for a small concert at Nashville’s Sutler Saloon.

In celebration of DEWshine, the guys’ new collaboration with Mountain Dew, a team canvased the streets of Music City and prowled social media to bring 150 lucky fans to the intimate, secret show.

“We love any chance we get to do stuff like this because it takes us back to our roots, how we all got started,” Brian Kelley tells PEOPLE. “It’s laid back, and you really get to focus on the songs and the songwriter aspect in a show like this.”

The duo, nominated for five ACMs including Entertainer of the Year, played four of their biggest hits – “Sun Daze,” “Shine,” “Sippin’ on Fire” and “Cruise” – before slipping out to head over to the Grand Ole Opry for a much larger concert later in the evening.

After the awards show dust has settled, Hubbard will set his sights on the next big task at hand: marrying girlfriend Hayley Stommel this summer. “We’re getting the groomsmen all sized up and ready for the suits,” he shares with PEOPLE.

While his fiancée and her bridal party were off enjoying the sights of San Francisco this past weekend, Hubbard, Kelley and a few close friends celebrated his bachelor party at his Nashville home.

“We played a little paintball, had a little sushi, made some fires, drank beer, played on dirt bikes and four-wheelers all day – just goofed off,” Hubbard says.

Hubbard’s bandmate, who married Brittney Marie Cole in 2013, has some words of advice for the soon-to-be newlyweds: “Enjoy it, man. Marriage is supposed to be fun,” Kelley says. “I couldn’t be more excited for [you] and Hayley. It’s the perfect match of two amazing people coming together.”
