For Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, there is no such thing as too much togetherness.

“We pretty much do everything together,” Hubbard reveals in the new issue of PEOPLE Country. “That’s how we prefer it. Whether it’s going on a hike or to the gym or just watching football, it’s always more fun if we’re together.”

And lately there’s been plenty of fun: In 2013, FGL’s debut single “Cruise” rocketed the band to mega-stardom, becoming the best-selling country digital song of all time (7 million and counting!) and spending a record 24 weeks at No. 1 on the country charts. Their debut album, Here’s to the Good Times, became the sixth-best-selling album – of all genres – last year, and their newest album, Anything Goes, just debuted at No. 1 on both the country and pop charts.

Success, they say, is better when it’s shared. “Tyler and I talk about it all the time,” says Kelley. “It’s nice being a duo because we have each other. I wouldn’t want to do it by myself.”

Both men also feel thankful for the positive life changes all that success has brought. Last year, Kelley, 29, and wife Brittney, 24, purchased a 32-acre hilltop retreat outside Nashville where “there are more animals than people,” he says. “I always dreamed of having a place in the woods.”

Meanwhile, Hubbard and new fiancée Hayley Stommel, both 27, are settling into their new four-bedroom “rustic, but modern” house set on 12 acres north of the city. “This is our place of refuge, this is where we recharge,” says Hubbard. “I’ve got a tractor, a few dirt bikes, we shoot clay on the property I got all my toys.”
