Hilarity Ensues When Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Lauren Alaina and RaeLynn Meet Dolly Parton

Blondes do have more fun – when they’re hanging out with Dolly Parton!

The legendary singer, 70, sat down with Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Lauren Alaina and RaeLynn as part of Cracker Barrel’s Front Porch Series to show her support of women in country – and hilarity ensued.

It was an afternoon full of candid conversation and games such as “Real Song or Fake Song” and “Dolly or Not Dolly” and all four emerging artists came away clearly star struck.

“Being in the presence of a legend makes it a little hard to concentrate,” Cam, 31, tells PEOPLE. “But she makes you feel like she’s your best friend. I walked away even more in awe of her than when I walked in, which I didn’t think was possible.”

For RaeLynn, 22, meeting the singer was a childhood dream realized.

“Dolly has been an idol of mine since I was a little girl,” she says. “It’s not every day you get to sit down and have a real conversation with an icon. It meant the world to me to get guidance from someone who I aspire to be like. What a magical moment!”

Ballerini, 22, was grateful for the chance to get some career advice from the music icon – and impressed with how good Dolly looks.

“Being from East Tennessee, growing up going to Dollywood and listening to her music, it was an inspiring morning getting to learn from the legend herself,” says Ballerini. “Dolly and I just hung out! Also, she looks amazing per usual.”

But perhaps no one was more in awe of Parton than Alaina.

“My entire life I have dreamed of meeting Dolly,” Alaina, 21, says. “People have asked me often who I wanted to meet most in country music that I hadn’t gotten to meet yet, and I always said her. I can’t even believe that I can say I’ve really met and spent time with her. She was everything I wanted her to be and more. I will never forget that moment. It was one of my favorite things I have done in my career. They say don’t meet your idols, but meeting Dolly totally blew that theory out of the water. She is perfect and more than I ever could have dreamed.”
